Directions

  • Step 1 : Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2 : Place the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3 : Stir in the sifted flour and cornstarch until combined.
  • Step 4 : Place the mixture in a piping bag fitted with a fluted tip. Pipe 1in rounds onto a baking sheet linded with parchment paper, allowing room to spread.
  • Step 5 : Bake for 12 - 14 minutes or until golden. Cool on a tray (not on a rack, that will make it hard to pick up the delicate cookie).
  • Step 6 : Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and turn on very low heat.
